I have always been the guy that buys the cheapy Walmart wallets, so last year when I went to Kohl's I sure thought I was stepping up - WRONG! The wallet I got was so uncomfortable my right leg would go numb at times. I've been looking for a new wallet for a while now and I finally found one.

It's made by a company named Recycled Firefighter (very supportive of the military, 2A, etc), my particular model is called the Leather Rookie. It's hand made here in the USA from recycled or rejected milsurp combat boot leather. It holds 4-6 cards per side and has a nice cash strap on the back. I am incredibly pleased with this wallet being just over 1/2" fully loaded. Price was $39 and well worth it. The quality of the work and overall finish is very impressive. Highly recommended if you are in the market for you or someone else.

I'm a big fan of minimalist wallets. I normally just carry a Magpul Daka essential wallet with a debit card, credit card, drivers license and my work ID.

With a single bill it may slide around a little but with even just two or three bills, folded in thirds, seems to be plenty secure. I haven't dropped any bills yet and I've had anywhere from 1-10 bills under the strap

Good to know. I don't want to make it rain until I'm damn good and ready. ;)
