I like. As for availability, I’ll wait for when they “drop” into my LGS and maybe see what the street price “drop” is.

P365. Year round. I see what you did there.

Apparently about the same size as a Shield or XDs, comes standard with night sights and 2 mags, and a double stack mag but single stack size grip; I think I might be interested in this pistol.

As long as it is drop safe...:cool:

Sig's answer to the Glock 26?

Looks like another good carry option. I was surprised how much I liked the Siglite sights on my P938.

Nice looking pistol.

But I already have HK VP9 SK, XDSC and G26, which is in my daughter's possession.

Gonna be tough to find a reason other than "cuz 'Merica" to buy one of these

This is very intriguing to me. I currently have two carry guns: Sig P229 SA/DA and a Sig P938. I don't like how one gun has a safety and the other doesn't. I've been waiting to see if they would release a P229 Legion SAO so I could pick one up, that way both guns had the same style safety. This P365 sounds like it is very similar in size to the P938 but holds more. If it has a bigger grip to allow a more satisfying grip, I may trade in the 938.

I just assumed because of the capacity that it was bigger than the P938. It is taller, but otherwise pretty comparable. Here's the P938 specs.

Specifications:

Length 5.9 in
Height 3.9 in
Width 1.1 in
Weight w/o mag 16 oz.
Capacity 6 or 7 +1
Trigger SA
MSRP $829

Yep, that's a pretty damn close fit. The only gripe I have about my 938 is that it's just a little tough to get a solid, comfortable grip. The grip is just so thin!

Mine is the Blackwood. I actually don't mind the grips, but I've never tried the Hogues. My complaints are more around the nubby safety and the heavy trigger. That being said, it works well for what it was intended, and recoil actually isn't bad for its size.
