Being a bigger guy, I didn't think a full kydex holster would work too well for me, but against my better judgement, I went ahead and ordered one from PJ Holster. I'm glad that I did, too. I requested it be made with a 30° cant, and I don't think I could be happier with how comfortable it is.

It takes up no space at all on my belt compared to a hybrid.

I have considered them, but have questions about the durability of the belt clip. All my holsters use removable belt clips and I have extras on hand in case one breaks. If the belt clip is part of the holster and it breaks, the holster is useless. Do you have any experience with belt clips like this in how durable they are in day to day use?

As for the holster size, I agree with you about how tiny of a footprint it takes up on your belt. That is one of the main reasons all my IWB holsters are the taco style kydex holsters. If you have trouble with the kydex making a hot spot, I posted a thread about a simple modification where I took gel heel pads and attached them to the side of the holster against my hip. I initially used super glue, but switched to the stick on velcro strip and would recommend them over the glue.

I would be very shocked if the clip on this broke. He has a double thick clip if you're worried aboutit though. I initially ordered the double thick clip, but he said it really wasn't necessary, and after wearing it a while today, I would guess that he is correct.

This is my first experience with any sort of holster like this, but I see no reason why it will not be durable.

    Paul does nice work.
he has sent several holsters for the Blast.

I have an OWB for my G30 and the clip is very durable.

the only time I have had a kydex clip on a holster break was on a cold day when it got below freezing

editing to say it was while I was getting in my truck and moving it from 4:00 to 2:30 rather aggressively

I have moved away from using kydex for a belt clip because it doesn't hold up to repeated flexing like some other plastics do. I've had some good luck with one lasting two years, but then some others have cracked in a matter of weeks.
